Expand supportive channels for raw materials

High-purity industrial silicon + High-purity crystalline silicon

As global carbon neutrality is gathering pace,
clean energy is an inevitable trend in future.

In 2015, the United Nations Climate Change Conference adopted theParis Agreement, proposing all parties to strengthen global response to the threat of climate change. China was a vital promoter for the conclusion of theParis Agreement, as well as an active practitioner in its implementation.
On September 22, 2020, Chinese government proposed at the 75th session of United Nations General Assembly, “China will strengthen the nationally determined contributions, take more powerful policies and measures, strive to peaking carbon dioxide emissions before 2030, and try to realize carbon neutrality before 2060.”
On March 5, 2021, Report on the Work of the Government of the State Council in 2021pointed out conscientiously implementing carbon peaking and carbon neutrality tasks, formulating an action plan for peaking carbon emissions before 2030, and optimizing the industrial structure and energy structure.
Under the dual carbon goal, the global installed PV demand is accelerating, whilst silicon, as a core raw material of PV industrial chain, witnesses a strained relationship between supply and demand.

In 2022, Shangji Automation invested in building
“150,000T high-purity industrial silicon and 100,000T high-purity crystalline silicon”

This marks Shangji Automation’s further improvement in vertical integration layout throughoutPV industrial chain, and also a strategic assurance for upstream raw material supply.
The control ability of cost optimization is reinforced, thereby improving the comprehensive competitiveness of the company.

Industrial Silicon

  • “High-temperature denitration” technology, greener and more eco-friendly

  • 60%“green electricity” power supply production, reducing the total energy consumption index

Crystalline Silicon

  • Adopt modified Siemens process route with higher purity

  • Compatible with raw materials for production of P-type and N-type silicon wafers

Advanced process technology and production equipment further improve the quality of silicon materials
Lay the foundation for outstanding performance of terminal products
Meanwhile, energy-saving measures are takenfor the project in five aspects of process, electrical power, construction, water supply and drainage, energy-saving production management,
facilitating energy saving and consumption reduction during later operation in an all-round manner, and promoting long-term development of the PV industry.
